Event Guidelines

1. Registration does not ensure issuance of the e-invitation. Only selected Applicants will receive the official e-invitation card. However, the remaining Applicants are requested to be present in the concern District Commissioner Office to be a part of the Event.
2. The e-invitation card is non-transferable and valid for one guest only.
3. No transportation and accommodation will be provided to the invitees by Cultural Affairs Department, Govt of Assam.
4. The event will take place at Veterinary Collage Playground, Khanapara, Guwahati on 8th September 2025, starting at 5:00 PM. All guests have to be seated by 3:00 PM.
5. Entry is permitted only upon presentation of the invitation pass (soft or hard copy) at the entry gate. Guests must present the invitation pass (soft or hard copy) along with a valid Government-issued ID for entry.
6. Re-entry will not be permitted; guests must remain until the conclusion of the event.
7. Invitation confirmation will be sent to the registered mobile number. Upon receiving the confirmation via SMS, applicants will be able to download the e-invitation from this website.
8. The inaugural event will be held in the esteemed presence of the Honorable Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi.
9. Documents to be uploaded while filling the form:
   • Passport size Photo (JPG) – Maximum size: 50 KB
   • Govt. Identification Document (JPG) – Maximum size: 100 KB
   • Field of Expertise / Any other documents with the Applicant related to the life and legacy of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika (PDF) - 1 MB
   • Anyone willing to share memorable photos of Dr Bhupen Hazarika can upload the photos here with a small description to preserve his cherished memories and celebrate the legend's legacy (PDF/JPG - – Maximum size: 1 MB) Optional
10. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
